I bought my car used. I have only driven it for 5 minutes and was ready to buy the car. Has plenty of room and comfort + the launch is amazing for such a big car. Recently did a road trip (1200 km) and averaged about 10 L/ 100 km (about 30 mpg). My car has a lot of mileage (232 000 km) and still runs very strong. I recommend this car to anyone. Im 22 and I love the way it handles on the highway + people never get on your way at nights :)

Only for the wise, best value, only for experienced human beings who are not purchasing a vehicle simply for the illusions of others.

  • 2005 Crown Vic LX Sport - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria

I purchased a 2005 Crown Victoria LX Sport in March of 06. The vehicle had 82 miles on the odometer. In the past I have owned many full sized Fords, Mercurys and Chevrolets. This one is the best of the bunch! The LX Sport has the beefed up engine and suspension and holds the road like a sports car. We recently completed a road trip of over 1700 miles and averaged over 25 mpg. Driving around town Im averaging 21. Not bad for a big car.

I bought the car a bit over a year ago and i loved it more and more since i got it. It has a bit of a rattle on the door and the cup holder but its all good. But the tape player automatically seeks if you go 30 seconds without playing a song but it works. The left shocks and struts squeak when i turn left which concerns me a little. But i think their ok. The seats are big and comfortable and it is very roomy which is great because Im pretty tall. The gas mileage is good for what it is i usually get about 20 mpg in a good day and 26-28 on the highway going at 80.

Bought this loaded LX (leather, dual power seats, climate control, etc.) in June 04 for $10,000 off sticker price of almost $30,000. For performance, comfort, safety and quality, this car is hard to beat. My wife loves it. Gets solid 25 mpg on highway and almost 16 around town.

This automobile is without a doubt the best overall vehicle I have ever owned within this class. It has looks, performance and serviceability like none other on the market. It is great in the economy category too. I just came off of a trip that I exceeded 26.5 miles per gallon on for the second or third time in two months. This with a V-8 that runs like nothing I have ever owned before or since the Sixties anyway. It has been a long time coming but I do not see how anyone can buy a smaller car in this price range with a V-6. You get less space, less performance and less economy. The comfort is beyond belief and this vehicle is absolutely fun to drive.

Love this car. Just did a 5000 mile trip, no problems. Love the smooth shift of the transmission. Good power. With the floor shift it is very easy to downshift to use the engine for braking. CD/am/fm/cassete player sound options. Auto-Set option on AM/FM Radio is nice on long trips. (Tunes in 6 strongest stations automatically)

This car is a winner. It accelerates well, cruises without any problem and handles well in tight situations. No wonder law enforcement relies on this car to be its "police interceptor." I love this car.

  • I love it, G/F Hates it - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria

Girlfriend hates it cause its for old people or police. My opinion, I hate FWD cars. V8-RWD is the only way to go. Only car left around $30k is Crown Vic. Actually paid $28k for the LX Sport. Love the auto climate, huge bucket seats, and power everything. Soft yet firm ride with the sport package. This thing is a real cruiser. People get out of my way going down the highway. For the money and the options, you cant beat it. Luxury car options and size for mid-size import cost. Lots of room everywhere. If police trust them, so can I. No problems with downshifting going up mountains. Everybody I talk to likes the car. I would buy again!

CAR RIDES AND HANDLES VERY WELL, SOME WIND NOISE AROUND WINDOWS BUT NOT ANNOYING ENOUGH TO WORRY ABOUT. DARK COLOR HARD TO KEEP CLEAN. INTERIOR COULD BE UPDATED.
